County Dublin
County Dublin is one of the thirty-two traditional counties of Ireland. The county contains the city of Dublin, the capital of the Ireland, and is located on the east coast of Ireland in the province of Leinster. County Dublin was one of the first of the parts of Ireland to be shired by King John of England following the Norman invasion of Ireland. The population of the county is 1,187,176 according to the 2006 census, making it the most populous county in the country.
